Art Decorations   (PM Club)

This club is for any student who would like to help create showcase and concert stage decorations. Check out last year's spring concert decorations located on either side of the stage.

Backstage Club   (PM Club)

Students will learn how to operate and handle all audio equipment as well as set pieces for shows and concerts.

Buddy to Buddy   (PM Club)

This club is designed to teach our students about others who may have disabilities with a focus on Autism and other related developmental disabilities. The learning activities include DVDs, speakers, hands on disability awareness activities, reading material and group discussions. Our club members are actively engaged in promoting kindness, respect and acceptance among their peers throughout the school.

Flag Football   (PM Club)

Come and play Flag Football with your friends. If there are enough students, we will have a WMS Super Bowl. Students must have an approved physical in order to participate.

Flower Child Arts & Crafts   (PM Club)

Arts & Crafts from the 1960's & 1970's. Decoupage; Indian Beading; Batik; Tie Dye; Mosaic; and other assorted crafts. The students will learn the various crafts and create their own jewelry; decoupage boxes; batik clothing; etc. Student participation; skills developed and applied; as well as working in a cooperative setting on various creative projects. Additionally, last year our club created and donated garden stepping stones the to the Wagner Farms Arboretum, which were then auctioned off at their fundraiser.

Games of Strategy   (PM Club)

This club is designed to provide a friendly atmosphere in which students can play games that are strategic in nature. These can be computerized or board games.

Golf Club   (PM Club)

Emphasis on technique and fundamentals of golf through actual play and practice. Students will develop and use a pitch and putt course on school grounds. Limited to 15 students per daily session. Beginners welcome. Students must have an approved physical in order to participate.

This club is designed to assist and support students with organization of work, review and reinforcement of skills. In this smaller setting, students will be able to get individualized help with their assignments

Homework Help Club   (PM Club)

Two teachers will be available to assist students in review and completion of assignments. Concepts will be reinforced and proper study skills encouraged.

Honor Band   (PM Club)

Honor Band is a selected group of advanced Band students in 7th and 8th grade who rehearse with three other school districts to prepare for the Honor Band Concert. Members are recommended by their teachers. There are 6 evening rehearsals, an evening dress rehearsal, evening performance and a tour during the day.

Jazz Band   (AM Club)

Students who sign up will be granted an audition for the Jazz Band. Students who have a successful audition and are accepted into the band will meet and play assorted Jazz music as an ensemble. They will also perform in 3 concerts throughout the year.

Knit a Bit   (PM Club)

Knit a Bit is a club in which students of all ability levels can learn to knit, crochet, and many other different types of needlework. The club will culminate with a project to be donated either to a charity or the nurse's office. This club is expertly run by both Mrs. Gladys Veitch and Mrs. Lisa Seccamanie. It's a great way to relax while creating!

Marching Band    (PM Club)

All 7th and 8th Grade Band Members and selected 6th Grade Band members rehearse in May 2010 for the Memorial Day Parade. The rehearsals are during the school day but the parade is held on Memorial Day in the morning hours. We rehearse every day for a week before the parade. Each student needs to have a lyre for marching if they play a wind instrument.

Morning Volleyball Club   (AM Club)

Volleyball Club will give students who enjoy the sport of volleyball an opportunity to play with others who share the same interest. Basic skills will be taught as well as rules of the game. Students will get to engage in games with their peers. Students must have an approved physical in order to participate.

Ping Pong   (PM Club)

You will have the opportunity to play ping pong with other students. Play for fun or challenge yourself against others in the club. Students must have an approved physical in order to participate.

Rebel2   (PM Club)

Rebel2 is a statewide, anti-tobacco middle school movement in which students learn to educate their peers and New Jersey's elementary school students to make healthy lifestyle choices. We will meet once a week in Room 16.

SGA   (PM Club)

Warren Middle School Students Government meets twice a month on Wednesdays. You will also be involved in activities during your lunch/guide period. If you want to be a part of community service and school spirit in our WMS, please listen to the announcements for the first meeting.

Sim City   (PM Club)

Students will become their own engineers and create a productive city on the computer. They will compare their cities against their peers to see who has the most desirable city.

Techno Wizards   (PM Club)

Students in this club will learn about new and upcoming technologies, browse the Internet and play network games in a cohesive social setting.

Ultimate Frisbee   (PM Club)

Come and play Ultimate Frisbee. Learn how to throw and catch a frisbee. Ultimate Frisbee is a fast paced game, played on a large field, about the size of a soccer or football field.

Voice Club   (PM Club)

This is a group voice class which will teach a student who likes singing more specific techniques for better singing. You will learn warm up exercises, technique, and repertoire. We will perform for Performing Arts Day in Nov. We do meet two days a week to prepare for the performance.

WMS Talent Show   (PM Club)

The WMS Talent Show allows students to showcase their talents. Three shows, one for each grade level, are produced to be held in June. If you dance, sing, juggle, or have any other talent you wish to show off to your WMS peers, this will be a great opportunity. Students who wish to be involved in the talent show should listen for annoucements in April. There will be an application form and an audition date. Auditions and Practices are held after school before late buses end. The show is held the last week of school during the school day.

Yearbook   (PM Club)

(For 8th Graders Only) Information on how to become a part of creating our yearbook will be announced soon. The first meeting will be mandatory and this date has not been set yet. The club meetings are flexible and many of them will be during your lunch/guide.
